Kim and Chris Jewell were both originally from a sales and marketing background, but for the 5 years before moving to Brittany to set up a new gites business, they bought and developed two gastro pubs with accommodation.

The Swan Inn near Lavenham in Suffolk was completely refurbished and an experienced new chef taken on. The chef won 'Chef of the Month' twice with his exciting local ingredients led menu, which was changed on a seasonal basis.

The Stackpole Inn in Pembrokeshire was developed using wonderful local seafood to a point were they won 'Best Food Pub Wales' two years in a row.

The new accommodation suite built to fit into the Pembrokeshire National Park environment was rated 4 star by Welsh Tourist Board and praised for the warm welcome atmosphere and level of service.

This five year experience has enabled Kim and Chris Jewell to bring the necessary knowledge of customer care and attention to detail required by todays clients to their new Brittany business.
